Prof. Cornelius A. Rijk, a Roman Catholic priest who sharply criticized a negative statement issued by a Vatican spokesman following Premier Golda Meir’s meeting with Pope Paul VI, has been “quietly removed” from the Vatican Secretariats for Christian-Jewish relations, it was disclosed here today. According to an article in the quarterly Ter Harkenning a periodical devoted to Christian-Jewish relations, the Dutch priest was removed for his “too pro-Jewish views.”
