Resolutions calling for registration of volunteers for a Jewish army to fight with the Allies and expressing sympathy and support to the Churchill Government and the British people and to all oppressed nations and the Jews, were adopted last night by the American Friends of a Jewish Palestine at its second annual convention.
Congressman Joseph Clark Baldwin, principal speaker at the final dinner session, voiced support of the registration resolution and of a petition calling for “restoration of the world’s oldest democracy” which the organization is circulating.
