The Italian Pro-Palestine committee, composed of prominent Italian statesmen and leaders, was consituted at a meeting held here.
Prince Pietro Lanza was elected president of the committee. Alberto Stefani, former Finance Minister, was chosen vice-president.
Judge Joseph Siegler of Newark, N. J. has been re-appointed by Governor Moore for a full term of five years as judge of the Essex County Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court. Judge Siegler was appointed last year to fill a vacancy on the bench.
Harry Kalisch, Newark lawyer, has been re-appointed a member of the Essex County Tax Board by Governor Moore of New Jersey.
Adolph Ochs, publisher of the “New York Times,” addressed a gathering at the Tomple B’nai Brith, Los Angeles, Cal., of which Dr. Edgar F. Magnin is rabbi.
