Important problems facing Jewish education and the Jewish education profession will be discussed this weekend at the semi-annual conference of the National Council for Jewish Education, the over-all organization of Jewish educators.
The World Assembly on Jewish Education, which will be held in Jerusalem next summer will be one of the major topics to be considered. A report on the unification of the Jewish education profession will be among the reports to be made by the various commissions of the Council; Special honors will be conferred on Mordecai Halevi, veteran Jewish educator who is returning from Israel and Dr; Abraham Millgram, a vice-president of the Council.
