Problems facing the Zionist movement as it prepares for the World Congress to take place in 1960 were cut lined here by Dr. Nahum Goldmann, president of the World Zionist Organization, at a meeting here of the Actions Committee members who belong to the World Confederation of General Zionists.
The prime problems, said Dr. Goldmann, are the financing of the new, large immigration from Eastern Europe and the reorganization of the Zionist movement.
Reports were given the meeting by the co-chairmen of the World Confederation, Dr. Israel Goldstein and Mrs. Rose Halprin. Dr. Goldstein declared that the program of the Confederation is gaining ground, especially in Latin America. Mrs. Halprin reported on the findings of a committee headed by Melech Noy which has suggested changes in the structure of the World Zionist Organization.
