Proceedings began in the trial of the markers of a mail-order weapons kit used in the shooting death of an Orthodox teen-ager four years ago on the Brooklyn Bridge in New York City. The plaintiffs in the federal trial include the family of Aaron Halberstam, who was killed by a Lebanese immigrant who opened fire of a van filled with Chasidic students.
