A proclamation calling on the Arabs of Palestine to join in a general strike on November 2, the twelfth anniversary of the Balfour Declaration was issued by the Arab Executive today.
A promise that the government would take under consideration their protests against the sentences pronounced on Arabs found guilty of having participated in the Safed massacre was made today by H. C. Luke, Civil Secretary of the Palestine Government. Mr. Luke received a delegation from the Arab Executive and the Mufti of Safed.
