Prof. Albert Einstein celebrated his 70th birthday here yesterday by playing host to a group of Jewish refugee children who are under the care of the United Service for New Americans. William Rosenwald, a national chairman of the United Jewish Appeal, accompanied the youngsters from New York to Dr. Einstein’s home here.
One of the children who visited Prof. Einstein–Elizabeth Eerzek–is a cousin of the noted scientist. In a formal statement issued, after the visit, Dr. Einstein endorsed the current U.J.A, campaign and declared that “these children visiting me are symbolic of the ideal of a revitalized Jewish people.”
