Nathan Gesang of Buenos Aires, prominent Argentine Jewish leader, today visited Prof. Albert Einstein here, and conveyed to the noted Jewish scientist greetings from Argentine Jewry.
Replying to Mr. Gesang’s greetings, Prof. Einstein sent a message of encouragement to Argentine Jewry, which he said he remembered from his visit there eighteen years ago. He expressed the certainty that the democracies will triumph in this war and urged the Jews of Argentina to prepare themselves for the great task of reconstruction that will follow after the war has ended. Prof. Einstein stressed the fact that the one main task was the upbuilding of Palestine as a Jewish National Home.
