Prof. Albert Einstein today addressed a letter to about 2,000 Jewish landsmanshaften in America urging them to continue to send relief supplies to the Soviet Union. He also urged them to participate in the fifth annual conference of the Jewish Council for Russian War Relief which will be held in May 12 in the Hotel Astor.
“Soviet Jews, together with all the Soviet people, now are engaged in the greatest reconstruction effort in the history of mankind,” the letter said. “They need our continued help.”
