Professor Waldeman Henriques, one of the most outstanding Danish physiologists, died of heart failure today at the age of 72.
Prof. Henriques was director of the Rockefeller Institute of Copenhagen. In 1903, he joined the faculty of the University of Copenhagen, a post he held for many years.
