Prof. Margoliouth, the famous Hebraist and head of the Hebrew Hyriac Department of the British Museum, died here yesterday, at the age of seventy.
Prof. Margoliouth was born in Poland of Jewish parents, adopted Christianity in his youth and came to England where be was ordained a clergyman. He was also the examiner of Hebrew and Aramaic texts at the University of London, and a contributor to many scientific and research publications.
