Prof. Harry Shulman, Yale University Sterling Professor of Law and a nationally known labor relations arbitrator, was yesterday named dean of the Yale University Law School by president A. Whitney Griswold. The 50-year-old professor, who was born in Russia, was law secretary to the late Associate Justice of the Supreme Court Louis D. Brandeis.
