Professor Felix Auerbach, the noted physicist, connected with the University of Jena, and his wife Anna, committed suicide today.
Professor Auerbach was seventy-seven years old. They left a letter stating that after fifty years of happy marriage they joyfully depart from earthly existence.
Professor Auerbach had been associated with the University of Jena since 1889 when he was appointed Professor of theoretical physics.
He was a native of Breslau where he was born on November 12, 1856 and where he was educated.
He was the author of a number of scientific works.
