Professor Sigmund Freud is not taking any part in the festivities in connection with his 75th. birthday, which occurs to-day, and is attending none of the gatherings arranged here by various scientific and social organisations. Many people visited him at his home to-day to convey their congratulations.
Professor Freud is not unwell, but he feels that he must not expose himself to the exertion involved in attending any festivities.
