Internal diseases common in Palestine were discussed by Dr. M. Rachmilowitz, head of the medical clinic of the Hadassah-Rothschild Hospital in Jerusalem, before the Ivrit Medical Society which met at the home of its president, Dr. R. A. Bendove, 1 West Sixty-eighth street.
Progress in treating diseases influenced by climatic and geographic conditions was described by the speaker. It was decided at the meeting to give an electro-cardiograph apparatus to the Hadassah-Rothschild Hospital. Pledges of $100 each for that purpose were made by Mrs. Bendove, Dr. A. Lightstone and Dr. J. Epstein.
