An emergency short-term economic program designed to rescue Israel’s economy will be published soon by the Progressive Party, one of the groups outside the present government coalition. The program, it was learned today, calls for liberalization of present regulations, free imports except of essential commodities and a graduated tax system. The program also calls for adjustment of government expenses to real income, fixing of wages in relation to output, and a priority list for foreign exchange allocations.
