A joint project has been launched to select 100 American trained and experienced social service personnel for immediate employment in Israel as workers in the rehabilitation and resettlement program for new immigrants entering the country, Ellis Radinsky, executive director of the United Palestine Appeal and chairman of the newly-formed National Committee to Select Social Workers for Israel, announced today.

The formation of the committee, Mr. Radinsky disclosed, followed an urgent appeal from the Israel Ministry of Welfare and service agencies in Israel “to meet the dreastic need for trained personnel who can serve as a working nucleus in helping to orientate and resettle thousands of immigrants in Israel every month.”
