A decision to strengthen the fight against anti-Semitism in the higher schools was taken by the Central Bureau of Proletarian Students after it had heard a report of the attack on a Jewish student in the dormitory of the Charkoff high school and a report of anti-Jewish sentiments in other high schools and colleges.
The Charkoff technological institute. where the incident occurred, resolved to expel those guilty of perpetrating the attack, and demanded that they receive the severest punishment.
