Prominent British Jews, including Chief Rabbi Joseph H. Hertz, the Marquess of Reading and members of the British Rothschild family, were among the select list of guests invited to witness the marriage of the Duke of Kent to Princess Marina of Greece, which took place today.
The Jewish notables were also invited to the reception held Tuesday night at Buckingham Palce, where European kings, regents and princes were also among the guests.
Chief Rabbi Hertz presented the royal bridal couple with a copy of his latest book, “Jewish Thoughts.”
