Prominent politicians, scholars and judges attended a conference in Hungary on Sept. 11 to mark the 120th anniversary of a blood libel trial. In 1882, local Jews in the village of Tiszaeszlar were accused of killing Eszter Solymosi and using her blood for ritual purposes. The trial took place in 1883.
