Germany has taken over control of all theaters in Poland and is pouring on the populace a steady stream of Nazi propaganda movies, according to information received by the Department of Commerce.
Moving picture theaters are now being reopened in Poland, but only films already released in Germany can be shown. Numerous shorts accompany each feature, the shorts pertaining to social and political developments in the Reich. Polish theaters in possession of persons of German origin will continue to be operated under the present management, but all theaters owned by Poles or Jews will be operated by German commissioners.
