Prosecutors in a city located in Russia’s Ural region informed the local Jewish community that they are giving up on finding the distributors of anti-Semitic leaflets in some of the city’s Russian Orthodox churches, according to the Union of Councils for Soviet Jews. The leaflets that began circulating in the city of Ufa in July refer to Jews as “damn Kikes,” adding that “the blood and torture Russia is going through is on your shoulders” and “you will always be blamed for this sin.”
