Former Supreme Court Justice Joseph M. Proskauer, honorary president of the American Jewish Committee, said here today that there should be a greater student exchange between Israel and the United States.
Here on his third visit, Judge Proskauer said great mutual benefit could be derived from such an exchange of teachers and students. He expressed the opinion that Israel could not expect a large-scale immigration from the United States.
Mr.Proskauer was received yesterday by Prime Minister Ben-Gurion and visited the Hebrew University and the headquarters of the Jewish Agency. Earlier he was honored at a luncheon attended by the president of Israel’s Supreme Court, Justice I, Olshan, the U.S.Ambassador to Israel Ogden Reid, Jr., members of the Cabinet and top government officials.
