The Board of Trustees of the Federation for the Support of Jewish Philanthropic Societies re-elected former Justice Joseph M. Proskauer as President of the Federation, at a meeting Thursday at the Federation offices.
Paul Felix Warburg, who served as one of the chairmen of the last Federation campaign for funds, was elected vice-president. At the same time the Board of Trustees also re-elected Felix M. Warburg, chairman of the Board; Arthur Lehman, associate chairman Mrs. Sidney C. Borg, Honorable Albert Goldman and Samuel D. Lcidesdorf, vice-presidents; Walter E. Beer, treasurer; Louis J. Grumbach, associate treasurer; Albert J. Erdmann, comptroller; Herman Lissner, secretary; and Solomon Lowenstein, executive director.
This is Judge Proskauer’s third term as leader of the Federation which embraces ninety-one affiliated philanthropic and charitable institutions, including hospitals, child care institutions, a Home for the Aged, a family agency and character building institutions.
