A protest against the continued practice of court martial in Lithuania was published here by a group of democratic deputies.
All members of the democratic faction in the Latvian parliament, as well as twenty-five of the most prominent writers in the country, signed the protest which was transmitted to President Smetona. Jewish deputies and writers joined in the protest.
