A serious conflict has arisen between Jewish lawyers here and the Royal Central District Court because a number of cases have been put on the calendar for the second day of Rosh Hashonah, September 24. The Jewish lawyers contend that the second day of Rosh Hashonah is also a legally recognized Jewish festival but the court insists that it only recognizes the first day. The Jewish lawyers have decided to take their protest to the highest authorities.
