Protests against the Wailing Wall incident were voiced by Jewish colonists in Northern Palestine during the tour made by Acting High Commissioner H. C. Luke who, in the company of Col. Frederick H. Kisch and Pinchas Rutenberg, visited the Balfour Forest. Nahalal, Balfouria and the Jordan works.
At a reception tendered the Acting High Commissioner, Jewish representatives protested against the incident at the Wailing Wall. Mr. Luke declared that the government regrets the incident and hopes that such incidents will not recur. He praised the Balfour forest terming it one of the greatest Zionist achievements in Palestine.
