A spokesman for the United States Mission to the United Nations said today that protests against the U.S. vote last week in the Security Council continued to come in. Over the weekend the Mission reported that some 100 telegrams and numerous telephone calls and letters arrived criticizing the U.S. for voting for the resolution which condemned Israel for its April 12 raid on southern Lebanon but failed to mention the April 11 terrorist carnage in Kiryat Shemona. The spokesman said today that numerous additional protests awaited the U.S. delegation when they arrived at their office Monday.
