Leaders of the Argentine Jewish Cultural Institute were received here in an audience by Provisional President Pedro Aramburu. The delegation consisted of seven members, headed by Simon Mirelman and Dr. Mario Schteingart.
During the interview, which was described as most cordial, the delegation asked that the Argentine Government ratify the UN Genocide Convention, maintain a constitutional clause condemning discrimination and make provision in the penal code for such violations. They also urged the maintenance of lay teachers in the Argentinian schools.
