The Council of the Society for the Psychological Study of Social Issues has issued a statement protesting against the “non-scientific interpretations” of racial psychology which “Fascists are using to justify persecution.” The protest, which is signed by 12 leading psychologists, declares that no conclusive evidence has been found for racial or national differences in either intelligence or personality. It says race theories have been developed under the domination of powerful emotion.
