The first issue of a rabbinic periodical. “Yagdil Torah”, has appeared here.

The journal is devoted to rabbinic research and is edited by Rabbi Abramski of Sluck. It contains many contributions from leading rabbis. The publication, in rabbinic Hebrew, will appear periodically and is printed by a Communist publishing house.

Employment and placement problems of Jewish charitable and social welfare organizations in San Francisco are to be centralized in one co-operative bureau.

The Federation of Jewish Charities of San Francisco has established an employment department in which are to be centralized all of the placement problems of local Jewish organizations.
