Mrs. Cataline Stoliar, the only woman publisher of a Jewish daily newspaper in the world, arrived here today following a visit of several months to Israel and various European countries. She is the publisher of the “Yiddishe Zeitung,” largest Jewish daily in Latin America.
Mrs. Stoliar will remain in the United States for several weeks to study Jewish life in this country. She expressed enthusiasm over the developments the witnessed in Israel where she was received by President Itzhak Ben Zvi and members of the Cabinet. She was especially impressed with the settlement of Argentine Jews which she visited. The settlement, established several years ago, is situated between Jerusalem and Ramat Gan.
