Puts Onus of Peace Rift on Revisionists

David Ben-Gurion, Palestine labor leader and member of the Executive of the Jewish Agency, speaking on behalf of the World Zionist Executive, today endorsed Vladimir Jabotinsky’s contention that it is futile to continue peace negotiations between the Revisionists and the Executive.

In a statement to the Jewish Telegraphic Agency, Mr. Ben-Gurion declared that peace negotiations “automatically ended” with the resolution which the recent Revisionist convention in Krakow adopted, upholding separate political action by the Revisionist organization, which is against the discipline of the Zionist organization.

‘WAY TO CONGRESS OPEN’

Mr. Ben-Gurion made it clear in his statement that the “way to the Zionist Congress is open for Jabotinsky” provided he obeys fully the Zionist discipline. Mr. Ben-Gurion denied that an agreement ever existed by which the Zionist Executive was not justified in issuing a call against supporting the Tel Hai Fund.

Mr. Ben-Gurion’s statement to the Jewish Telegraphic Agency follows:

“Any agreement with regard to the Tel Hai Funds exists only in Jabotinsky’s imagination. The Zionist Executive never recognized the Revisionist Tel Hai Fund. No mention is made of this fund in any of the agreements between us and the Revisionists.
