Many mothers believe that camps are primarily a physical benefit for their children. While this might have been true many years ago, before child psychology was developed as a recognized science, camps now apply intelligent methods to develop not only the child’s physique, but also his character and individuality. A summer at camp can guide and develop a child in many ways.

The method of individual attention to encourage a child’s development has been used with great success at Camps Quamba and Polaine, for boys and girls, at Hopewell Junction, N. Y. A. Wiener, owner and director, by virtue of his long association with public and high school work, is fully qualified to supervise the application of the best features of child psychology. A limited enrollment, expert counsellors and small groups make individual improvement a real actuality. Dietary Laws are observed.

Besides the usual sports these camps have a nine hole golf course.
