The first official trade mission from the Province of Quebec to Israel left for a 10-day visit to Israel yesterday. It is headed by Philippe Vaillancourt, Economic Counselor to the Quebec government’s Ministry of Commerce and Industry.
The purpose of the mission is to explore opportunities for trade with Israel, joint ventures and the exchange of information in the fields of high technology, construction, electronics, plastics, telecommunications, medicine and industrial equipment. The trade mission was organized by the Quebec Office for External Trade in cooperation with the Israel Trade Mission in Montreal.
