Queen Juliana yesterday conferred the Order of the Dutch Lion on Dr. Mauritz Fraenken, vice-president of the Amsterdam High Court and a veteran Dutch Zionist leader. Chief Rabbi Aron Schuster was present at the ceremonies when knighthood was conferred upon the 70-year-old Jurist who was an inmate of the There pienstadt concentration camp during the Second World War. For many years, Dr. Fraanken was a member of the board of the Dutch Zionist Federation.
