The nineteenth annual convention of the United Roumanian Jews of America will be held on Sunday, January 2, at the Riviera Hotel, Newark, N. J.
Particular significance is attached to this convention in view of the critical condition of the Jews in Roumania.
Delegates are expected from New York, Newark, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Boston, Pittsburgh, Cleveland. Chicago and Canada.
A report on the condition of the Jews in Roumania and particularly ###lating to recent events will be given by President Leo Wolfson. A report of the activities for the year will be submitted by Herman Speier, the Executive Secretary. A memorial service for David Falik, the student who was killed in Roumanian, will be held.It is expected that the convention will take steps to deal with the situation of the Jews in Roumania.
