Dr. Israel Goldstein, national chairman of the United Palestine Appeal and a national chairman of the United Jewish Appeal, will leave LaGuardia Field by plane to make an intensive study of the refugee settlement program in Palestine and of the progress that has been made in the absorption of the 40,000 homeless Jews who have come to the country since the end of the war. He will also survey the pressing relief needs of the homeless Jews in Europe, stemming from the recent drastic curtailment of inter-governmental relief programs.
