Rabbi Albert N. Mandelbaum has been engaged by Congregation Beth Hamedrosh of Albany Park as its spiritual leader.
Born in Palestine thirty-six years ago, he received his education at the Universities of Nebraska and Louisville and earned his theological degree at the Theological College of New York. Prior to Rabbi Mandelbaum’s coming to Chicago he served as rabbi for five years in Albany, seven years in Louisville and for two years in Troy, N. Y.
