Rabbi and author Harold Kushner has written a special “Seder of Safe Return” for U.S. troops and their families. Kushner, who wrote “When Bad Things Happen to Good People” and other best- selling books, penned the special seder for troops returning from Afghanistan and Iraq who missed celebrating Passover with their families. Available free on the Conservative movement’s Web site, uscj.org, the seder is “for the families of American Jews who served our country in the cause of freedom,” Kushner writes on its title page.
