Rabbi Isaac Friedmann was attacked last night by two Hitlerites on Grenadierstrasse, in the heart of the district inhabited by East European Jews.
After they had beaten up the Rabbi the Hitlerites grabbed his hat and fled from the scene. Police and Jewish passersby gave chase and captured the attackers. Search of their persons at the police station discovered that one of the Nazis carried arms.
