Rabbi Barnett R. Brickner of Cleveland will be the main speaker at the Metropolitan Teachers Conference this afternoon at Temple Rodeph Sholom, 7 West 83rd street. Roabbi Brickner, and authority on the subject of religious education, will speadk on “Jewish Ceremonials and Customs.”
Rabbi william F. iRosenblum, chairman of the conference, has arranged for classes and teachers from New York religuous schools to give demonstration lessons in the teaching of Jewish customs and cermonles in the primary, intermediate, and high school departments. The conference is under the auspices of the Greater New York Committee of the Union of American Hebrew congregations, of which Jacob B. Pollak is regional rabbi, Temple Rodeph Sholom congregation will serve tea to the teachers, 200 of whom are expected to attend.
