Rabbi Samuel Benjamin, founder of the Cleveland Jewish Center and active for several years in the Zionist movement here was given a farewell reception Sunday evening prior to his departure for Palestine from New York on June 12th.
Officers of the Ohab Zedek Congregation presented the Rabbi with a $2,000 purse. Representatives of the cleveland Zion Club of the Mizrachi and the Ziere Zion spoke in praise of the Rabbi’s work in Cleveland.
