Rabbi Bernard Heller, director of the Hillel Foundation of the University of Michigan, was one of the principal attractions of the St. Patrick’s Day dinner” at St. Thomas Parish, where he appeared as a speaker.

Similarity of national experience between the Irish and the Jews was traced by Dr. Heller, who characterized St. Patrick as “the Moses of the Irish.” He also sounded a plea for tolerance in America.
