Rabbi David Shlomo Rafalin, the leading rabbi of Mexico, has died here after a long illness at the age of 79 Lithuanian-born, Rafalin came to Mexico in 1935 from Havana, Cuba. He was active here in the Zionist movement and in communal affairs. He was the president of Mizrachi, the Jewish National Fund and Keren Hayesod.
