Rabbi Oscar Z. Fasman, president of the Hebrew Theological College in Skokie, Illinois, since 1946, today announced his retirement as the president of that institution, effective as of October 1, 1964. His resignation was accepted with deep regret by the board of directors of the college, who paid tribute to him for his years of service. By unanimous vote of the directors Rabbi Fasman was named as president emeritus of the college.
