Rabbi L. Elliott Grafman has resigned as spiritual leader of Congregation Shaarai Zedek of this city, which he has served for the past six years. Rabbi Grafman tendered his resignation several months ago, at which time his congregation urged him to reconsider it and to remain. He announced recently, however, that he had decided to seek a larger field of ministry. For several years he published and edited the only Anglo-Jewish monthly in the state, “The Southern Advocate.”
