Rabbi Henry J. Berkowitz will occupy the pulpit of Temple Beth Israel, Portland, Ore., formerly occupied by Rabbi Stephen S. Wise and Rabbi Jonah B. Wise. Rabbi Berkowitz was formerly in Kansas City, Missouri, where he was Associate Rabbi at The Temple.
