Rabbi Herbert S. Goldstein was re-elected president of the Synagogue Council of America at a plenary session of the council it was announced yesterday. This is the second term for Dr. Goldstein and the twentieth year of the council, which represents orthodox, conservative and reform Judaism.
Other officers re-elected were Rabbi Isaac Landman, first vice-president; Rabbi Robert Gerdis, second vice-president; Rabbi Aaron Opher, assistant to the president; Benjamin Koenigsberg, corresponding secretary; Max Fink, treasurer; Charles P. Kramer, honorary secretary.
